Lace Legacy
/This bride brought us a dress which had been worn by both her mother and grandmother. She loved the history of the garment but wanted something more suited to her style. Additionally, the heavy weight of the satin skirt wasn't ideal for a warm summer wedding. We worked with her to remove the sleeves, reshape the neckline and create a more contemporary waistline. We loved the design detail of the original dress which featured inset panels of tulle in the lace skirt which created a wonderful contrast of texture. By removing the train of the satin skirt, the beautiful texture of the lace overlay was on full display and the dress was markedly lighter allowing freedom of movement. This bride was angelic in her final look.
